Stop the Blame Game

Self-harm, suicide, etc. are neither confined within the boundaries of any particular sex, race, religion nor teachings of any of the above groups. Yet, we have been putting up with the evil of suicide. To be precise and specific, Australia is a fairly affluent society. We do have many research, analysis, support mechanisms and early warning systems to combat this disease.

Yet, far too many young peoples are committing suicide in many ways. Sadly, a bad number of older peoples are murdering their own children, partners and then themselves. Who should be blamed for these tragedies? The drinking water system, religion, social justice, political parties or educational system?

In light of the London Suicide attacks and "Mossad" inspired Lakamba bookshop incident - it is fair and proper to say, "let's try to understand these problems so that we can genuinely make a few attempts to address them rather than pointing finger at each other.

However, Murdochian media and Sydney's hate machine radio 2GB have been inciting against Aboriginals, migrants, Arabs and Muslims for a long time. They have been doing so without any rights of reply as well as based on not true, untrue or even false premises. Their incitements and vilifications appear to be deliberate and calculated to cause injury to a target group of their selection.

Therefore it should be pointed out that, historically, Jews used to launch suicide terrorist attacks against the Romans. The second Muslim Caliph Omar was the victim of non-Muslim suicide terrorist attackers. Modern day terrorism was introduced in the Middle East by the Jews and since then Israeli/Zionist terrorism appearing and affecting in many places in many formats. Surely, sometime their victims are hitting back and getting reported in a magnifying scale. Attack of those kinds got nothing to do with religion and they may have a lot to do with politics or any other underlying causes.

Ironically, most of the effective and deadly suicide terrorist attacks were committed by the non-religious groups or secular groups like the Tamil Tigers, Etc.! One President and a Prime Minister are in their victims list. Certainly, they were not from Hindu, Muslim or Christian groups. Therefore a fair and proper analysis of the above subject is a must rather than deliberate Muslim bashings. Because, people will find out the real truth and those leaders who are pretending to lead us without listening to us, and they will be exposed along with their `plan' to protect us by locking us up inside.

I heard several news reports that Georgia first invaded Ossetia, and that Russian troops finally went in to protect its interests and people in Ossetia. But as usual, the U.S. Government and Media are now evading this all important point. The real culprit in the whole scenario is the Bush administration.

Key figures in the Georgia government are Israeli citizens and partisans for Israel, including the "Georgian" who directly launched the war, Defense Minister Davit Kezerashvili. The major "Georgia" Spokesman is Temur Yakobashvili, also an Israeli citizen, is Georgia's minister of reintegration.

2) Israel has strategic oil pipeline and economic interests in Georgia that it wants to keep under control.

3) Israel and Jewish powerbrokers around the world are angry with Russia because Russia keeps the Jewish Neocon-controlled United States from total domination of United Nations policy toward Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and toward a war against Iran.

4) The Russian government has had the courage to prosecute some of the Jewish criminal Oligarchs in Russia such as Berezovsky, Gusinsky, Khodorkovsky and others, a great many of whom have fled with their stolen billions to Israel and other nations.

I would like to prosecute Georgian President and his advisors for war crimes and genocide. Because it was them who have initiated military actions and violence to solve a complex political problem rather than genuinely seeking for a pragmatic solution! BEIJING - President Bush sought to contain the explosive conflict in Georgia on Sunday as the White House warned that "Russian aggression must not go unanswered."

The crisis over a breakaway province, South Ossetia, appeared to ebb as Georgian troops began retreating and honoring a cease-fire, a claim Russia disputed. U.S. officials said Moscow was only broadening its retaliation against Georgia for trying to take control of the region..


The sheer scope of Russia's military response has the Bush administration deeply worried. Russia on Sunday expanded its bombing blitz in areas of Georgia not central to the fighting.

Vice President Dick Cheney spoke Sunday afternoon with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, Cheney press secretary Lee Ann McBride said. "The vice president expressed the United States' solidarity with the Georgian people and their democratically elected government in the face of this threat to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," McBride said.


Cheney told Saakashvili that "Russian aggression must not go unanswered, and that its continuation would have serious consequences for its relations with the United States, as well as the broader international community," McBride said.


A Russian official said more than 2,000 people had been killed in South Ossetia since Friday; the figure could not be confirmed independently.


The president was to end his weeklong stay to Asia by attending a baseball game and other events Monday at the Beijing Olympics. The trip was meant mostly for fun and games â€" there have been plenty of both. But the fast-moving conflict in Georgia has grabbed his attention.


Bush, pressing international mediation, reached out Sunday to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who heads the European Union. The two agreed on the need for a cease-fire and a respect for Georgia's integrity, White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said.

In Washington, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee said the United States must work closely with Europe in condemning Russia's actions.


"We cannot just go out alone on this and talk and act unilaterally. We don't have much impact, I believe, in terms of our unilateral declarations anymore with the administration' s approach to the world," said Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich. "We've got to stand together with European allies."

Georgia, whose troops have been trained by American soldiers, began an offensive to regain control over South Ossetia overnight Friday, launching heavy rocket and artillery fire and air strikes that pounded the provincial capital, Tskhinvali. In response, Russia launched overwhelming artillery shelling and air attacks on Georgian troops.


"We're alarmed by this entire situation, and every escalatory step is a further problem," deputy national security adviser Jim Jeffrey told reporters.


The U.S. military began flying 2,000 Georgian troops home from Iraq after Georgia recalled the soldiers following the outbreak of fighting with Russia. The decision was a timely payback for the former Soviet republic that has been a staunch U.S. supporter and agreed to send troops to Iraq as part of the U.S.-led coalition. Georgia was the third-largest contributor of coalition forces after the U.S. and Britain, and most of its troops were stationed near the Iranian border in southeastern Iraq.


The risk of the conflict setting off a wider war increased when Russian-supported separatists in another breakaway region of Georgia, Abkhazia, launched air and artillery strikes on Georgian troops to drive them out of a small part of the province they control.


Also, Ukraine warned Russia it could bar Russian navy ships from returning to their base in the Crimea because of their deployment to Georgia's coast.


"If those Russian ships leave that port in the Black Sea and if Ukraine decides that it is not going to allow those ships back into that port ... that is a potentially much greater conflagration involving a wider regional area," Levin said.


The White House sought to reassure that the administration â€" including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen â€" were talking to parties on both sides and trying for a diplomatic solution.


"We hope that there is no further bloodshed. There has been too much bloodshed already," Jeffrey said.

Olmert to U.S.: Impose naval blockade on Iran

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has proposed in discussions with the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, that a naval blockade be imposed on Iran as one of several ways to pressure Iran into stopping its uranium enrichment program.

Although the White House denied a published report that U.S. President George W. Bush intends to attack Iran before the end of his term in January, the Bush administration is said not to have ruled out entirely the possibility of an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

A story in the Jerusalem Post quoted an unidentified official as claiming that a "senior member" of Bush's entourage to Israel last week made the statement about attacking Iran in a closed meeting. However, White House press secretary Dana Perino said the article is "not worth the paper it's written on." She added that the administration's preference and actions for dealing with Iran remain through peaceful diplomatic means.


Israelis who spoke to Bush and his entourage while they were in Israel last week said they had the impression that the military option "is on the table," and that the president felt a sense of deep obligation to overcome the Iranian threat.

The Iranian issue was central in Olmert's meeting over lunch Monday with Pelosi, together with 12 other members of Congress in the bipartisan delegation Pelosi led. Among those present were House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Howard Berman, and heads of the House Appropriations Committee, Nita Lowey and Gary Ackerman.

"The present economic sanctions on Iran have exhausted themselves," Olmert told Pelosi, adding that the international community needed to take much more drastic steps to stop Iran's efforts to obtain nuclear weapons. Olmert also said there was a great deal of space between the present sanctions and military action. Aggressive action could be taken that was not violent, Olmert told Pelosi.

Olmert's suggestions mainly involved continued efforts to isolate the Iranian regime. Olmert proposed two possible courses of action: first, a naval blockade of Iran using the U.S. fleet to limit the movement in and out of Iran of its merchant ships.

The second option Olmert proposed was to place limitations on Iranian aircraft, business people and senior members of the regime at airports throughout the world. "Iranian businesspeople who would not be able to land anywhere in the world would pressure the regime," Olmert said.

Members of the American delegation also spoke about how to pressure Iran. Pelosi herself said at a press conference Monday that a whole series of moves were on the table to prevent Iran from attaining nuclear status."


Livni: United front

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told Pelosi at a meeting that "the effectiveness of the sanctions depends on a united front by the countries of the world." Livni added that when there are those who create commercial options for Iran, the efficacy of sanctions was reduced. "When Iran sees the foreign minister of Switzerland wearing a veil when she comes to to Ahmadinejad to sign an agreement, it concludes that the world is not united against it," Livni said.

Olmert is scheduled to fly to Washington in two weeks for another working meeting with Bush that will focus on the Iranian issue. During Bush's visit last week, he met with Olmert privately, as well as together with Defense Minister Ehud Barak, to discuss the options for dealing with Iran's nuclear program.

Senior government officials in Jerusalem said they were satisfied with the talks and Bush's speech in the Knesset on Iran. They said they believed Bush would make good on his declarations.

Meanwhile, diplomats in Vienna said a new attempt by Mohammed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to probe allegations that Iran tried to make nuclear arms has failed. ElBaradei was said to have been hopeful a month ago when he announced a new attempt to investigate allegations that Iran has tried to make atomic arms. However, the diplomats told The Associated Press yesterday that Iran denies such activities.
